02/11/2007: Just a quick update for now; short on time at
the moment and will go into more detail later.
The inside of the car is pretty much finished, except for the
dash. All the holes and seams have been sealed with
caulking where the bars go thru the firewalls on the front
and rear. The nose has been fitted, and brackets to support
the nose and fender are in place; I wasn't quick enough to
get a picture with it all on :o( cuz my camera batteries were
a goner when I tried.
Anyway, the hood is also done, hood pins installed, and
when it's all together it looks pretty good!
Today's project is putting an engine into place, and getting
the rest of the drivetrain ready to put in. We still have to
sandblast the rear end, paint the suspension pieces, find a
torque converter, the list goes on. . .
